Digital loyalty for independent businesses

Your punch card, in their phone.

Paper cards get lost, washed and forgotten. We build you a loyalty card that lives in your customers' phone wallet — beside their debit card — and we run it for you every month. No app for them to download. Nothing new for you to learn.

One extra visit a day.

That's usually all it takes to cover the whole thing. Put your own numbers in — it works on gross profit, not revenue, so the extra sales still have to cover their own product cost before they count.

How it works

About an hour of your time to set up. After that it runs, and I run it.

STEP ONE

We build your card

Your logo, your colours, your reward. We decide together what earns what — and what that reward actually costs you.

STEP TWO

Customers tap or scan once

A tap point and a QR code sit by your till. Ten seconds and the card is in their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. No app, no account, no password.

STEP THREE

Your staff scan the phone

One free app on the phone already behind your counter. The stamp appears on the customer's screen while they watch. Five seconds, every visit.

STEP FOUR

We run the campaigns

Every month we send an offer to the people on your list, and send you one page telling you what happened. You approve. We do the work.

What it costs

Three-month minimum, then month to month. No twelve-month lock-in — we'd rather earn it. Prices in CAD, plus HST.

Who you'd be working with

I'm Abid. Before this I was operations manager for five restaurant and bakery businesses in Newfoundland — scheduling sixty-odd staff, running food cost, and working the line myself when the line needed working.

The thing I could never get a straight answer on was repeat business. We all knew the regulars by face. Nobody could tell you how many there were, whether the number was going up, or what actually brought them back.

So that's what Keporia does. Not a marketing agency that has never worked a shift — an operator who has, running the one thing most independents never get around to.

Your customers never see my name. The card in their phone is yours: your logo, your colours, your reward. I'm behind it.

Straight answers

I'm on Square, and I think it already does this.

It does — Square added Apple Wallet loyalty passes and it's included in your plan. Two honest questions, then: is it switched on and are your staff using it, and do you know what it's telling you? The tool isn't the hard part. Nobody at Square designs your reward, writes your monthly offer, or reads the numbers back to you. That's what you'd be paying me for. If you'd rather I looked at your Square loyalty dashboard first and told you honestly whether you need me, I'll do that.

My customers are older — they won't use their phone for this.

Fair. Do they pay with their phone? The card sits in the same place as the card they already tap with. And you keep your paper cards for anyone who prefers them — the two run side by side. But rather than guess: how many people paid you with a phone today?

My staff will never remember to scan it.

That's the real risk and it's the right thing to ask. So: one laminated card by the till with five steps, training at a shift change rather than an email, and I check in at day seven — because if scans are low in week one it's dead by week six. I'll also suggest something small for whoever signs up the most customers in month one. Thirty dollars of your money, and it's the difference between working and not.

What happens to my customer list if I leave?

It's yours, it says so in the contract, and I'll export it for you within ten business days of you asking — whether you're leaving or not. I'm not holding your customers hostage.

Will it definitely increase my sales?

I won't promise that, and be careful of anyone who does. What I can tell you is exactly what it has to produce to pay for itself — usually about one extra visit a day — and after month one you'll have real numbers instead of a promise: enrolments, visits per customer, redemptions. If those are flat after sixty days, cancel. It's month to month.

I found software online for twenty-five dollars a month.

You did, and it's good software — I use tools like it. What you'd be paying me for is the part that isn't software: designing an offer that actually changes behaviour, building the card, training your staff, sending the campaign every month, and telling you whether it's working. If you have four hours a month to do that yourself, buy the $25 tool. I mean that. If you don't, that's the job.

Let me build yours first.

Send me your logo and I'll build your loyalty card — free, no commitment. Look at it on your own phone, then decide.
